About Halina
Halina is a professional artist and art educator working in the visual arts field for over 20 years. She was born and raised in Poland where she obtained her Master’s degree in Fine Art and Art Education at Copernicus University in Torun. She received a thorough training in diverse artistic techniques, including painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture as well as a thorough education in European art history. She also studied Teaching Methodology, Psychology, and Pedagogy.
After receiving her Master’s degree she immigrated to Canada.
In 1999 she completed the New Media Design program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. For 10 years she ran Impressions School of Art, a leading art school located in Port Credit, Ontario.
In 2015 she moved with her family to the USA.
Halina is an active artist involved in local art initiatives and charities. She is a Founding Director of Art Divas Canada. She has been teaching art through workshops and art demonstrations in Canada and the USA.
